Mijke van den Brand is attorney-at-law (advocaat) since 1998. She specializes in employment law. She has an advisory and litigation practice regarding various questions that touch employment law. It can be about individual dismissal, but also about a company’s reorganization, about the Works Council, about enforcement of a non competition clause, about drafting contracts and staff regulations etcetera. Mijke represents employers as well as employees.
Mijke is a member of the Association Employment Lawyers of the Netherlands (VAAN) and a member of the Association for Employment law (VvA)
She completed the postgraduate specialization course on employment law Grotius and she is an editorial of the Magazine Employment Law Practice (TAP from Sdu publishers). She gladly accepts invites to host a workshop or presentation about employment law related matters. In her spare time she is also supervisory board member of the foundation Muziekhuis Utrecht.
