John Kopp has worked in the liability and insurance law sectorsince 1998, bringing extensive and broad experience and expertise to his practice . John understands “exactly” the expectations and (often insurance covered) commercial interests of his clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specializing in professional liability, corporate liability, and directors’ liability, John is service-oriented, critical, honest, open and engaged. John works result-driven, cost-efficient and shall defend a matter in court firmly whenever necessary or appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this period, John gained broad international experience in areas such as General Liability Insurance (including co-insurance), Professional Liability Insurance, Directors & Officers Insurance, Financial Lines Insurance, Technical Insurance, Construction Law, CAR (Construction All Risks) Insurance, Civil Real Estate, and injury-related claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1992 – 2006<\/strong>
John graduated in Utrecht (Dutch Law; Private Law degree) and completed internships at The American Bar Association, section Dispute Resolution (Washington DC), Mediate Tech Inc. (Front Royal), and JAMS\/Endispute (New York). In 1999, he started working as a lawyer at (Trenit\u00e9) Van Doorne in Amsterdam, followed by Nysingh Advocaten en Notarissen, specializing in liability and insurance law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
