Mijke is an attorney-at-law and certified mediator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an attorney, she provides advice and litigation services on a wide range of employment law matters. This can vary from dismissal cases, reorganizations, processes with the works council to problems with non-compete clauses and more. She is a member of the Netherlands Association of Employment Law Attorneys (VAAN). Admission to VAAN is a quality label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mijke also acts as a mediator. In this role, she is impartial and assists parties in finding a solution to a dispute or conflict. Her experience lies mostly in the field of employment and professional collaborations. Mijke is a registered mediator with the Mediators Federation Netherlands (MfN, a quality label  for mediation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her childhood in the south of the Netherlands, Mijke studied law at Utrecht University. She was admitted to the Bar in 1998. After many years of working at Van Diepen Van der Kroef Advocaten in Utrecht, she joined BOLT Advocaten in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2003-2004, Mijke successfully completed the postgraduate ‘Grotius Specialization Course in Employment Law’ (provided by Radboud University) and is an employment law specialist since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2010, Mijke contributes to the Journal of Labour Law Practice (TAP) issued by a Dutch publisher SDU. Since the start she has been involved in each issue (seven times a year) by writing about the most interesting new rulings in the field of dismissal law for TAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, Mijke completed the education for being a mediator at the Centre for Conflict Resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mijke is  a member of the Association of Labour Law Attorneys Central Netherlands (VAAMN) and of the Dutch Association of Mediators and Attorneys (NVVMA).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
